Can you crack the code in time!
You have been given a special mission! You must meet a secret agent for the British government in Tudor Square at 5 pm today and relay a message that is of the utmost national security! You must work out the identity of the agent that you are to meet and their under-cover alias and title. You will work out the exact dialogue to be exchanged between yourself and the agent to maintain utmost security! Only then can you pass on the top-secret message. Will you accept the mission? The message will reveal to the agent where and when the target will be found and what fate awaits them!
Please note that this trail is probably more suitable for children 12+ as some of the clues are more challenging. If you have younger children, then you may want to try ‘Where’s the Treasure in Tenby’.
Directions
Simply follow the clues around the town from start to finish at The Five Arches on South Parade, Tenby SA70 7DL. Five Arches Car Park is the nearest paid parking on South Parade but there are many other car parks available. All the answers to each clue will give you an INCORRECT piece of information! Simply cross it from the Answer sheet. In a process of elimination, you will be left with the correct answers! You will then be able to work out all of the answers above and then use the map to work out where the treasure is buried!
Accessibility
The entire route is on pavements, hard paths and roads. However, part of the trail involves a steep flight of steps that descends to the harbour from Crackwell Street. Although these are not navigable by buggy nor wheelchair; an alternative route can be taken by continuing along Crackwell Street, turning left at the bottom of the hill and walking back to the far end of the harbor, where the bottom of the steps arrive! There are also a few steps in Quay Hill that again can be avoided by retracing your steps up Sergeants Lane! There are a few inclines and declines around the harbour and castle hill areas.
Solved the Puzzle? When you purchase your downloadable trail booklet, you will also get the options to download the solution page at the same time. (but DON’T peek!)
Standard Booklet as pdf download £10.99 Suitable for a group of 2-4 to share. Please note, that although it is possible to read the clues on a mobile device, it will be tricky because of having to scroll backwards and forwards to access the list of suspects etc for elimination purposes. The trail is NOT INTERACTIVE, therefore you would still need a pen and paper to make notes. We recommend printing at home for the best experience!
