How To Choose Your Trail?

How to Choose your Trail

Step 1: Choose Your Location

Click here to see a list of  currently available, ready-to-use trails.  As we are in the early years, we are still busy  building our list of ready-to-use trails; so if you cannot see a location listed where you would like to do one, please contact us as there may well be one on its way but jut not published yet!

Step 2: Choose the Type of Trail

There are three types of hunt to chooses from:

  • Downloadable(prices start from £8.99)
    • Bespoke/Managed (prices start from £89)

Downloadable

Great for Couples, families, with the kids or just a small group of adults.  If you are visiting somewhere new or just in your home town or local park, one of our hunts will add a new dimension to your walk!  A treasure hunt will take you past many local attractions, opening your eyes to so many things you would ordinarily just walk straight past!  Our treasure trails are pre-written so all you need to do is buy one and you’re set with everything you need including directions, clues, and the answers.

Our downloadable hunts  are available as pdf files that can be printed off at home or used on any pdf enabled hand-held device.  Please note that downloadable booklets are not interactive and that you will either have to print off a downloadable answer sheet or just take along some paper and pens.  Prices start from £8.99

The trail will take 1½ – 4 hours to complete, however if you stop off at other attractions (many of which are free to visit), have a bite of lunch or do a bit of shopping you can quite easily make it into a half or full day of activities.

The trails can be printed off as an A4 / A5 sized booklet with a colour front page and a black and white interior.  They vary in length from 1½ – 3 hours in length and contain 20 – 40 clues.

Bespoke / Managed

We can help you plan your entire treasure trail to your exact specification from start to finish in a location of your choice!  You can even opt for a member of our team to be present on the day, where they will brief and set off the teams, mark the answers at the end and award certificates etc.  You may even like to have actual ‘treasure’ hidden along the route – the treasure can even be edible if you wish!  Click here or on title to find out your next steps for choosing this type of trail!  Contact us for a chat and a free no obligation quote today.

Step 3:  Choose your Theme

There are 4 different themes available.  However, all 4 themes will not necessarily be available in all locations.  So if you really want to do a particular theme, then you may have to choose a different location or contact us to arrange a bespoke trail.

Sherlock Shenanigans   are our flagship trail and are generally the preferred format for bespoke or personalised trails.  They are of varying length so always check out the details before you buy!  The clues are written using rhymes and riddles and contain challenges!  No map is included as that is part of the challenge and there may be some basic compass work required.   However, no one has got lost yet!    The answers will be sent as a separate downloadable document  Prices start from £9.99

Poirot Puss

Poirot Puzzles  are your basic Who Dunnits!  You will have to help solve the crime.  The answer to each clue will allow you to eliminate one suspect/ weapon/description from a provided list.  By the last clue you should have a clear picture of exactly how the crime was committed.  No map is required as clear instructions are given as to where you should go.  Text helpline numbers are available should you get stuck and also to submit your answers!  Prices start from £6.99

Tintin Trails are your basic treasure trails.  Can you find the treasure?  In addition to solving the normal clues of names and dates etc, you will also have to work out co-ordinates on a map to work out the exact location of the treasure!

Clouseau Code Breakers are all about secret agents and spies.  Solving clues to decipher coded messages and work out security codes to safes and top secret documents!

It was a great day, I thoroughly enjoyed it, for more than the obvious reasons. ( the winner)  You are all a great bunch of people and ultimately the cause that money was being raised for is, most likely, dear to everyone’s hearts. Ultimately it is fundraising like this that helps push forward the treatments which in turn helps the people it will benefit the most.”    Collette Burns
