Zumba Gold

Zumba Gold

dance-1Zumba Gold is perfect for active older adults who are looking for a modified Zumba class that recreates the moves at a lower intensity and with little or no impact. It is also perfect for beginners, those who are starting their path to fitness and for those who just prefer to exercise at a gentler pace!

How it Works: The design of the class introduces easy-to-follow Zumba choreography that focusses on balance, co-ordination and range of motion. Come ready to sweat and leave empowered and feeling strong!

Benefits: The class focusses on all elements of fitness – cardiovascular, muscular conditioning, flexibility and balance.

“I feel like its MY speciality. I love how it slows down Zumba basic moves while still feeling like a party.”
Claudia S. Miami, FL.

Zumba Gold – Seated

This is a perfect form of exercise for those who need to, or prefer to remain seated for their exercise. It retains all the Latin and world rhythms and still has that vital party atmosphere. You will still get a cardiovascular workout that has muscular conditioning and flexibility. I normally incorporate a few standing routines (optional) which help with balance.

Specialist Seated Classes

I have delivered several classes to residents within care homes who are physically frail or have varying degrees of dementia. Since the Covid pandemic, these have not restarted as yet but I hope to return soon!!

I also visited the Ayrshire Parkinson’s Society Support Group in Troon and have previously delivered classes to the SISG (Sensory Impairment Support Group) and the Ayrshire Hospice. The benefits to body and soul are plain to see and a pleasure to deliver.

It was a great day, I thoroughly enjoyed it, for more than the obvious reasons. ( the winner)  You are all a great bunch of people and ultimately the cause that money was being raised for is, most likely, dear to everyone’s hearts. Ultimately it is fundraising like this that helps push forward the treatments which in turn helps the people it will benefit the most.”    Collette Burns
