Murder in Mold – a Poirot Puzzle!

Tumshie Jones has been found Murdered in Mold!  Can you help to solve the crime?

Tumshie Jones is the great, great….great Scottish grandson of Twm Sion Cati, the famous 16th century robber of Tregaron.  He follows in Twm’s footsteps professionally and has been tempted to turn up in Mold as he has heard that the famous Gold Cape of Mold is being returned from the British Museum and is to be housed in the Mold Library & Museum.  But before he can realise that he has been fed false information, he is brutally murdered.  Can you help DCI Thaddeus S. Noopwright to solve the crime?

Simply follow the clues around the town from start to finish  finish at Tesco Superstore car park, Chester Street, Mold CH7 1UB.   (No restriction at time of print but check first!)

Part of the trail involves an uneven path, going up Bailey Hill, which is navigable by buggy but not wheelchair   If your numbers do not allow your group to ‘divide and conquer’, then the answers to these clues can be texted to you. Alternative access to St Mary’s church avoids steps. The remainder of the trail is hard surfaces.  It is approximately 1.5 miles long and will take about 2 hours to complete.  This is an estimate and depends on the speed at which you walk and on how many stops you choose to make along the way!

All the answers to each clue will give you an INCORRECT piece of information!  Simply cross it from the Answer sheet.  In a process of elimination, you will be left with the correct answers!

Standard Booklet  as pdf download   £9.99    Suitable for  a group of 2-4 to share.

It was a great day, I thoroughly enjoyed it, for more than the obvious reasons. ( the winner)  You are all a great bunch of people and ultimately the cause that money was being raised for is, most likely, dear to everyone’s hearts. Ultimately it is fundraising like this that helps push forward the treatments which in turn helps the people it will benefit the most.”    Collette Burns
