The Eglinton Enigma- a Clouseau Code Breaker

The Eglinton Enigma is a 5 mile adventure around the grounds of Eglinton Country Park, Irvine KA12 8TA. It is really intended to be done by bike but you can choose to walk. If so, then you probably need to allow more time to complete the trail! The trail starts and finishes at the Visitor Centre in Eglinton Park.  If you are arriving by car, then there is plenty of free parking in the park.  The visitor centre is open daily 10.00 – 4.30 and a café and toilets are available at the centre.  There is also a bike maintenance area and water bowls for dogs at the centre!  If you are arriving by bike on the town trail from Irvine or Kilwinning, then you may want to start and finish at the entrance on Kilwinning Road and use the nearest clue (number 29).  Route information can be found at http://www.ayrshirepaths.org.uk/  (New Town Trail). You have been given a special mission!  You must meet a secret agent for the British government in Eglinton Park by the end of the day and relay a message that is of utmost national security!  But first, you must work out the identity of the agent that you are to meet and work out his/her under-cover alias profession that he/she is using.  You must also work out the crucial missing words in the secret message that you must pass on to the agent.  Will you accept the mission? The answers to each clue will give you an INCORRECT piece of information!  Simply cross it off from the Answer sheet.  In a process of elimination, you will be left with the correct answers!

Standard Booklet as pdf download   £10.99  Suitable for  a group of 2-4 to share.

It was a great day, I thoroughly enjoyed it, for more than the obvious reasons. ( the winner)  You are all a great bunch of people and ultimately the cause that money was being raised for is, most likely, dear to everyone’s hearts. Ultimately it is fundraising like this that helps push forward the treatments which in turn helps the people it will benefit the most.”    Collette Burns
